A selection of Manchester City fans on Twitter have reacted positively after learning that Aymeric Laporte has return to full training after a lengthy lay-off with injury.
The Spaniard sustained nasty knee knocks against Wolves and West Ham on in the run-in, but soldiered on to help his team-mates over the line and secure a fourth Premier League title in five years.
As Manchester City gear up for their second Champions League group stage game of the season, against Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium, Aymeric Laporte has delivered a significant update on his progress.
He released a new photo of him on the ball in Manchester City training, with the caption, âAlmost thereâ accompanied by the âeyesâ emoji, suggesting that a return to full fitness may only be around the corner for the former Athletic Bilbao man.

âAlways remember that Laporte sacrifices his body, played through injuries so that we can win the EPL last season. He is still recovering. What a man, what a player. Same as Kyle Walker played through injury, KDB also played through ankle injury. These are legends.â
