Manchester City forward Jeremy Doku has been successful in a legal battle related to image rights in France. The 21-year-old Belgian completed a £55.5 million move to Manchester City from Stade Rennais last August, beating out interest from other Premier League clubs. Doku has made 41 appearances in his debut season in England and has contributed to 13 goals across various competitions.

Doku is on the brink of winning his first domestic silverware with Manchester City as they require a win over West Ham to secure the Premier League title. Additionally, the team is set to face Manchester United in the FA Cup final later this month. Despite focusing on his on-field performance, Doku recently won a legal battle with Pannini and UNFP over image rights in a Paris court ruling. Southampton’s Jeremy Pied was also part of the group that took legal action.

The Paris court ruled in favor of Doku and the other players, stating that the players’ union did not have the rights to sell their images to organizations like Pannini without compensation. Doku, who has been pivotal for Manchester City in recent matches, has now successfully resolved the legal issue surrounding his image rights in France.
