Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Bernardo Silva is a target for AC Milan in a £45M deal.

Silva has been a superb player for City, helping the club win three Premier League titles, four EFL Cups and the FA Cup since joining from Monaco in 2017.

But his future is in doubt now after City signed Jack Grealish for £100million. They are now stacked with attacking options and Bernardo’s game time is expected to be limited next season if he stays at the club.

The Portuguese is prepared to leave the Etihad but refused to join Tottenham in a swap deal with Harry Kane, while his hopes of joining Atletico Madrid look to have collapsed.

According to Daily Star, AC Milan want to take Bernardo Silva on loan for two years at a cost of £15M, before then paying a £30M fee to make the move permanent.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have been named as possible suitors for the for Monaco man, but it is doubtful whether either is financially capable of bringing the winger to La Liga.

The versatile attacker still has four years left to run on his contract with Man City, who were back in Premier League action at home to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
