Fans react as Man City reportedly trying to include David Alaba in Leroy Sane swap

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the Citizens are trying to include David Alaba in Leroy Sane Bayern Munich deal.

Bayern are the frontrunners to sign Sane if he leaves City and have used the downtime in football to work on a potential deal for the winger

The Bundesliga champions have not exactly been subtle in their advances for the Manchester City winger but don’t want to pay City’s £90m valuation for the winger.

The Athletic claimed that recent talks have included Bayern Munich’s David Alaba in a deal for winger Leroy Sane, but the Germans are unwilling to let the Austrian leave this summer.

Alaba was a key player under Guardiola during his three years at Bayern and has struggled to maintain the same form since the Spaniard’s departure. He made more appearances under Guardiola than any other manager in his career

With David Alaba yet to sign a new contract, Bayern could have chosen to include the Austrian as part of a deal to get Leroy Sane for cheap. But the Germans don’t want to lose Alaba and could make him see out the final year of his contract before letting him leave for free.
