Manchester City are not satisfied with Al-Nassr’s proposal to buy their key player, Ederson. The club’s straightforward policy of letting players leave if the fee demanded is met is being tested in this situation. Despite Al-Nassr’s hopes of completing the deal quickly, City are holding out for a higher fee for the Brazilian goalkeeper.
Al-Nassr’s willingness to pay a high salary to Ederson and their offer of €30 million have been rejected by City, who are seeking over €50 million for the player. Ederson has reportedly agreed to move to Saudi Pro League, but the deal depends on both clubs reaching a compromise. City should hold their ground and only sell Ederson if their fee demands are met.
Ederson is a key player for Manchester City and one of the best in his position. City have every right to demand a high fee for his transfer, especially considering his importance to the team. If Al-Nassr does not agree to City’s demands, the club should decide whether to keep Ederson or seek a deal with a different buyer.
