Jack Grealish has been granted a summer free from football duties, following his omission from the England squad for the European Championships. Despite struggling with injuries and fitness issues last season, the Manchester City player has reportedly been reassured by Pep Guardiola of his place in the team for the upcoming season.
While there have been rumors about Grealish potentially leaving Manchester City, transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano has stated that there is no concrete information suggesting a transfer at the moment. Grealish has returned early to the team to prepare for the pre-season period and City’s upcoming tour in the United States.
Manchester City’s pre-season fixtures include games against Celtic, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, and Chelsea, leading up to their FA Community Shield match against Manchester United. New signing Savio will not be part of the tour and will instead train with the team upon their return to England in August.
