The release clause in the contract of Manchester City target Bruno Guimaraes “will expire” at 23:59 BST on Monday, June 24th, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Newcastle midfielder can be signed for £100m until then but, after that point, the Magpies will be in full control of the player’s future.
Pep Guardiola’s side and Arsenal have both been heavily linked with Guimaraes over the past few weeks but it does look like the Brazilian will be staying at St James’ Park.
