Paris Saint-Germain are the “only club” that have made a concerted effort to sign Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez so far this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Writing in his Daily Briefing column, Romano said PSG have made a “concrete approach” to the player but they have not been given any encouragement from the Premier League champions:
“Man City still hope to keep the player because they view him as a key part of the present and future project, though Alvarez wants to play more, which of course is not easy when you’re competing with Erling Haaland for a place in the team.”
