Ederson has been a key player in Manchester City’s success, winning numerous titles and trophies during his time at the club. Despite potential transfer rumors, Pep Guardiola has expressed concern about Ederson leaving the team, highlighting his importance to the squad.
During a video with Manchester City’s media, Ederson selected an outfield player, Kyle Walker, as a quality goalkeeper based on his performance in a match against Atalanta. Guardiola explained that Walker was chosen as an emergency goalkeeper due to his courage and speed, and the goalkeeping coach supports the idea that Walker could fill in if needed. While Guardiola hopes a similar situation does not happen again, he believes Manchester City can rely on Walker’s abilities in goal if required.
