Eden Hazard has played with some incredibly fast players during his career, both at Chelsea and Real Madrid. At Stamford Bridge, Hazard teamed up with speedster Willian, known for his quickness on the wing. At Real Madrid, Hazard played alongside the likes of Gareth Bale, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo Goes, all known for their remarkable pace. Despite not being known for his speed, Hazard’s quick feet and ability to move with the ball made him a nightmare for defenders to handle.
When asked to build the ultimate player based on different attributes, Hazard chose Vincent Kompany for his pace. Kompany, who played for Man City, was known for his quickness as a defender, often tasked with defending against fast strikers like Luis Suarez and Wayne Rooney. Despite his injuries, Kompany’s speed and large strides allowed him to keep pace with some of the quickest attackers in the world. Hazard selecting Kompany as the fastest player he’s ever seen is a testament to the defender’s remarkable speed.
