Director keen to sign Manchester City player after failed attempt – Asking price ‘within reach’

AS Roma are considering signing Manchester City’s Issa Kaboré this summer, according to Forza Roma.

He hasn’t made an appearance for Manchester City since joining them from Belgian side KV Mechelen in July 2020. The right-back was sent out on loan to Troyes, Marseille and Luton Town since the start of the 2021/22 season.

Prior to his loan move to Marseille, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi tried signing the 23-year-old for his former club, OGC Nice, in 2022.

The website points out that Nice offered €15m to buy him two years ago, but Manchester City didn’t entertain it….
