Manchester City have a history of signing players from Premier League clubs and have been linked to several current stars this summer, including Bruno Guimaraes and Eberechi Eze. However, Chelsea have now reached an agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign City target Pedro Neto for €60m plus €3m in add-ons. The 24-year-old Portugal international winger is set to undergo a medical soon and complete the transfer to Stamford Bridge. Neto, who has expressed admiration for Bernardo Silva, has made 135 appearances for Wolves, scoring 14 goals and providing 24 assists.

With Chelsea securing a deal for Neto, Manchester City will have to look elsewhere for a winger. As the summer transfer window nears its close, it remains to be seen if City will make any additional signings, especially with rumors of Julian Alvarez joining Atletico Madrid. This development adds to City’s track record of interest in Premier League talent, with recent acquisitions including Matheus Nunes, Jack Grealish, and Mateo Kovacic.
