Dani Olmo’s standout performances at the European Championships have caught the attention of top clubs, particularly Manchester City. The Premier League champions have been linked with the versatile playmaker since last summer and are expected to trigger his £50 million release clause at RB Leipzig before it expires.
Several clubs in both the Premier League and Spain are reportedly ready to meet Olmo’s release clause, with Chelsea also showing concrete interest in the player. However, RB Leipzig could demand between £60 million and £70 million if clubs show interest beyond the deadline next week.
While Manchester City have been pursuing other targets like Bruno Guimaraes, they may still consider signing Olmo via his release clause. City officials are expected to intensify their interest in Guimaraes, but could also make a move for Olmo if the opportunity arises.
