Manchester City will face Manchester United in the Community Shield this weekend, three months after a heartbreaking FA Cup final defeat. Despite being a friendly match, there is a piece of silverware and bragging rights on the line as both teams aim to start the new season with a victory. City will be looking to avenge their previous defeat to United and win the shield for the first time since 2019.
The Community Shield will be held on Saturday, August 10, at Wembley Stadium, with kickoff at 3 pm. The match will be televised live in the UK on ITV 1 and STV, with the option to stream it on ITVX. Both teams have key players returning to training and new signings hoping to make their debut, making for an exciting showdown between the two Manchester clubs.
