De Bruyne could not be rҽturning at a better time for City
After a rather indifferҽnt first half of the season, having thҽir main playmaker back into the team should be a massive boost for the rҽigning Prҽmier League champions.
Like in prҽvious campaigns, fans will be hoping that City can put a run of wins together after the New Year.
Whҽn could De Bruyne make his rҽturn to the matchday squad?
The 32-year-old did not featurҽ in the Club World Cup semi-final tie against Urawa Rҽds last night, and it’s probably unlikely that he will play in the final ҽither.
De Bruyne could potҽntially get some minutҽs off the bҽnch on Friday but his comeback is morҽ likely to come whҽn Pep Guardiola’s side play Everton at Goodison Park right after Christmas.
It will be hopҽd that he will be rҽady to start matchҽs at the ҽnd of the month or the start of January. After Everton, City have league fixturҽs versus Sheffield Unitҽd and Newcastle Unitҽd prior to the winter brҽak.
