Palmer’s successful stint at Chelsea, where he has scored 31 goals and provided 20 assists in 51 appearances, highlights his decision to seek regular playing time. Despite his talent, City may have missed out on Palmer’s potential impact had he stayed and fought for a spot in Guardiola’s team. Guardiola acknowledged Palmer’s desire to play more and move on, emphasizing his belief in the player’s abilities and character.
