English giants Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are all interested in signing 17-year-old Brazilian sensation Pedro Lima, who currently plays for Sport Recife. Lima has made a remarkable rise in his senior career, featuring in 13 matches for the first team with three goal contributions. His exceptional performances have attracted the attention of top clubs across Europe, with Manchester City scouting the teenage full-back and Liverpool and Chelsea also showing interest.
Manchester City scout Audrio Magalhaes traveled to Recife to watch Pedro Lima in action during the Campeonato Pernambucano final. While City is keen on signing the young full-back, they face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea, both of whom have also scouted the teenager recently. Lima’s impressive rise has not gone unnoticed, with Sport chief João Marcelo Barros acknowledging the interest from top clubs and confirming the presence of scouts from around the world watching the player.
Although Lima’s contract with Sport Recife runs until the end of 2027, there is a release clause worth €12 million that could pave the way for his departure in the near future. This fee is relatively small for Premier League clubs, and it remains to be seen if Chelsea, Liverpool, or City will make a move to secure the talented 17-year-old’s services. With his potential and the interest from multiple top clubs, Lima seems destined for a bright future in European football.
