‘Can’t imagine us being outbid by Madrid’ – Fans reacts as Man City ‘positioned themselves’ for Haaland

Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays reports to yet another update on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian striker, who is one of Europe’s hottest properties, has been linked with a big-money summer move after scoring 32 goals in 35 Bundesliga matches.

According to Sport as relayed by Sport Witness, Pep Guardiola’s side and Real Madrid have ‘positioned themselves’ to acquire the 20-year-old Dortmund star’s services and they also ‘have the money ready’ to formalise the transfer.

The report adds that the final decision, however, will be made by Haaland himself, with the possibility of him staying at BVB next season not ruled out.

Haaland has a release clause of €75m in his contract with Dortmund, but that only comes into play in the summer of 2022.
