Manchester City are close to selling Callum Doyle to Wrexham.

The Red Dragons – owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney – have agreed a fee of £8m for the City Football Academy graduate, who has never made a senior appearance at Manchester City.

It is an expensive deal for Wrexham – who have only just come up into the Championship from League One – but Manchester City fans actually think the Welsh outfit are getting themselves a bargain in Callum Doyle.
