‘Barcelona or Manchester City’ – Belief manager is in line for Etihad move after making real impact

Over the past two seasons, Cesc Fabregas has emerged as one of the best young managers in Europe. The Italian media have now hinted that Manchester City could be his future destination.

Corriere della Sera take a close look at the Como manager, with the lakeside club currently at fifth in Serie A. They take on Inter Milan next, with the Nerazzurri having attempted to land him in the summer.

A meeting was held with the Milan side but it was merely exploratory.

They claim that Bayer Leverkusen also came forward after losing Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid. Talks never reached an advanced stage, as AS Roma’s interest also never materalised into a formal move.

Now, there is belief that Fabregas will not manage another club in Italy….
