Man City received the news yesterday that they feared in terms of the seriousness of the injury that Josko Gvardiol suffered against Chelsea. The Croatian defender suffered a fractured tibial in his right leg. He will now face an extended period on the sidelines. Pep Guardiola’s side is now facing an injury crisis with their centre-backs. Ruben Dias also picked up a muscle injury against Chelsea. John Stones is currently injured and Nathan Ake is a player who has battled fitness issues of his own over the past two seasons.
