Manchester City fans continue to get deeply uncomfortable watching Chelsea play, as they know there’s a high chance that Cole Palmer will shine.Palmer left the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2023, joining Chelsea in a £42.5 million transfer deal. That was seen as a great sale by City at the time.
But fast forward 18 months or so, and it’s clear the Blues snagged a major bargain.Palmer has been sensational since quitting City for Chelsea, and is so often their main man – and that was the case again yesterday as Chelsea came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea were 2-0 down, but a brilliant Palmer-inspired second-half display saw them turn the game around. Palmer scored twice from the penalty spot, and also grabbed an assist for Enzo Fernandez. Cole Palmer is the fourth-fastest player to reach 50 PL goal contributions…….
