Manchester City picked up their third Premier League draw of the campaign on Saturday afternoon with a 2-2 stalemate at Crystal Palace. After getting their first league win since October during Wednesday night’s 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, City had to come from behind twice to leave Selhurst Park with just one point.
The first half saw Erling Haaland cancel out Daniel Munoz’s early opener. Rico Lewis did the same thing in the second period after Maxence Lacroix put the home side ahead again with 56 minutes on the clock. Despite seeing his side fail to do what they did in midweek in terms of getting a win with a clean sheet, Pep Guardiola had a positive outlook on this latest match in the capital.
