Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has still not started a game despite having returned to training weeks ago. De Bruyne picked up an injury earlier in the season against Inter in the Champions League, much to the dismay of supporters.
De Bruyne was initially expected to be out for a short period. But he ended up on the sidelines for weeks. But De Bruyne has now been back in training since before the October international break. Despite that though, he still hasn’t started a game for City, having come off the bench in five games.
Jamie Carragher thinks ‘something is going on’ with De Bruyne behind the scenes at City, and fans are also now starting to speculate that something is off. Many supporters were stunned how little game time De Bruyne got against Liverpool when City were crying out for a bit of creativity. After the defeat to the Reds, Gary Neville offered his verdict.
