Manchester City striker Erling Haaland took to Instagram last night to send a message to fans, amid the club’s mini-crisis. City lost 2-0 to Liverpool in their latest game, extending their winless run to seven matches across all competitions.
Manchester City fans feared the worst heading into the game with Liverpool, who have been brilliant so far in 2024/25. And those fears were realised early on, as Cody Gakpo gave Liverpool the lead after 12 minutes. City somehow managed to get in at half-time only 1-0 down, but Mo Salah made it 2-0 in the second-half after Stefan Ortega brought down Luis Diaz in the penalty area.
It’s a tough time right now, and Pep Guardiola has several problems to fix. One such issue is that the attackers aren’t scoring goals – with the exception of Erling Haaland, who took to Instagram last night to send a message to fans. Erling Haaland assures Man City fans they’ll see better days again…..
