The upcoming January transfer window could end up being an important one for Manchester City. After Rodri suffered a season-ending injury back in September, Pep Guardiola suggested City could sign a midfielder in January to replace the injured Spaniard.
Aside from that, one midfielder who will be making a move to the Etihad Stadium in January is Claudio Echeverri following the end of his loan spell with River Plate which was organised when City landed their £12.5m (via BBC Sport) deal at the start of the year.
