Pep Guardiola said after that game that Man City are ‘not stable’ at the moment, and the loss of Rodri is proving to be very problematic. It’s Liverpool at Anfield next for City, which is a tough fixture in any case.
But the Reds are flying right now and are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League, and have just beaten Real Madrid in the Champions League. On paper, it’s a massive game – but Kyle Walker dismisses the idea that Pep Guardiola treats it differently to any other game.
