Manchester City have tonight thrown away a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord in the Champions League. It was vital that Manchester City bounced back after the awful defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, with a huge game against Liverpool coming up this weekend.
City failed to do that, despite being 3-0 up after 50 minutes. City took the lead through Erling Haaland, who scored a penalty after being fouled in the area. That goal by Haaland saw him become the youngest player ever to reach 45 goals. He then got his 46th in the competition in the second-half, but not before Ilkay Gundogan had made it 2-0.
Pep Guardiola will be livid though tonight, as defensive mistakes cost his side once more., with Feyenoord scoring three times in the final 15 minutes plus injury time.Feyenoord scored their first after a defensive mix-up allowing Anis Hadj-Moussa to find the net. Then Santiago Jimenez tapped in minutes later after a cross squeezed past Ederson.
City then conceded once again in the 89th minute when David Hancko struck.Man City fans criticise Pep Guardiola after Champions League capitulation against Feyenoord….
