Ederson, who has also been previously linked with Liverpool, offers a different profile to Rodri with his mobility and athleticism.
Despite being on Liverpool’s radar, Ederson is now being considered as a potential replacement for Rodri at Manchester City. The Brazilian midfielder, who is known for his physical strength and mentality, could provide a different dynamic to City’s midfield compared to Rodri.
