Manchester City are preparing to start their 2024/25 Premier League season after winning their fourth consecutive league title in the previous season. They won 28 out of 38 games, scoring the most goals in the division at 91. Roy Keane has predicted that this could be Pep Guardiola’s last season as manager of City, as his contract is set to expire in 2025. Guardiola has expressed interest in extending his contract, but Keane believes he will leave at the end of the season.
Despite Keane’s prediction, many believe City should try to secure an extension with Guardiola, considering his success and impact on the team. Guardiola has won 350 games out of 473 in charge of City, making him a vital figure in the club’s recent success. As City gear up for the new season, the focus will be on Guardiola’s future and whether he will commit to a contract extension beyond 2025.
