Manchester City are actively seeking new signings in the summer transfer window to bolster their squad as they aim to win multiple major trophies. Despite having a strong team, City are looking to add quality players, particularly in the midfield where some key players are aging. One player they are interested in is Bruno Guimaraes, who City believe is still interested in joining them despite his release clause expiring.
Guimaraes, who can play as a defensive midfielder or further forward, fits the profile of the player City are looking for. However, Newcastle United, his current club, may resist offers or demand a high fee for his transfer. Nonetheless, City should make an effort to sign Guimaraes or explore other options in the remaining weeks of the transfer window, although it may be a challenging deal to complete.
