Manchester City are interested in signing Napoli and Georgia international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with the player’s former coach tipping him to join the Premier League champions. Kvaratskhelia impressed at the European Championships with Georgia, scoring a memorable goal against Portugal and reaching the last-16. Despite his success, Georgia was eliminated by Spain in the tournament.

Dinamo Batumi technical coach, Gela Davitadze, believes Kvaratskhelia would be well-suited to Manchester City or Arsenal in the Premier League, praising City’s style of play under coach Pep Guardiola. Davitadze also mentioned Barcelona as a potential destination for the winger. He believes Kvaratskhelia’s dribbling skills and versatility would be an asset to any team, especially in challenging matches like the Champions League.

Although Kvaratskhelia was a potential transfer target for City last summer, a deal did not materialize due to Napoli’s reluctance to sell. City went on to sign Jeremy Doku instead. However, with the club still looking to strengthen in wide positions, Kvaratskhelia could be considered as a candidate for a future transfer to Manchester City.
