Francesco Camarda, a highly talented 16-year-old, has decided to stay with AC Milan despite interest from both Manchester City and Manchester United. This marks another missed opportunity for the City Football Academy, as they aim for their fifth consecutive Premier League title. Manchester City’s Under-18 team, coached by Oliver Reiss, recently won the FA Youth Cup and will look to continue their success in the upcoming season.
Despite their success at the youth level, Manchester City’s first team suffered defeats in their pre-season tour of the USA against Celtic and AC Milan. The team will be looking to bounce back as they prepare for the upcoming season. Camarda, the young striker, has chosen to stay with AC Milan and has reportedly signed a new three-year deal with the club following his impressive performances last season.
