Shaka Hislop believes the England players were guilty of doing one thing against Slovenia, with a Manchester City player especially guilty.
England topped their group after drawing 0-0 with Slovenia in their final group-stage match.
They took five points from their three games, which was enough to see them through to the last 16 as group winners
It was another dismal display from England against Slovenia, who themselves have progressed to the knockout stages as one of the best third-placed teams.
Once again, there was a lack of cohesion, fluidity and control and at times the tempo was far too slow.
Shaka Hislop couldn’t help but notice something disappointing watching the game, and reckons a Manchester City player was especially culpable.
