Manchester City star Phil Foden has once again found himself being the topic of conversation after his latest England performance.
After starting England’s opening match of the 2024 European Championship against Serbia as a left-winger, figures in the media such as Gabby Agbonlahor have been calling for the 24-year-old to be deployed in a number 10 role.
Then in the recent 1-1 draw against Denmark, the City star started on the left again but found himself getting into more central areas throughout his time on the pitch.
With Foden yet to deliver a goal or assist for the Three Lions in this tournament, Jamie Carragher has now shared his thoughts on what should happen with the Englishman from now on.
Assessing England’s 1-1 draw against Denmark and sharing his thoughts on how the Three Lions could carry on throughout the tournament, Carragher had this to say in a recent column for The Telegraph.
