Spanish media has claimed that five Manchester City players, including Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips, could be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer as the club looks to refresh and strengthen its squad after a successful season. Despite interest from clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich, it is unlikely that Grealish will leave City as he is seen as an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s plans.
Manchester City’s exit from the UEFA Champions League has prompted talks of potential departures, including Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne who have been linked to moves to Barcelona and Saudi Arabia, respectively. Backup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega Moreno is also considering leaving in search of more playing time at a top European club.
While there is speculation of a possible exodus from Manchester City this summer, Guardiola is expected to focus on bringing in new signings to maintain the team’s competitiveness next season. Despite rumors, it is believed that Grealish will remain at the club as Guardiola values his unique abilities on the field.
