Manchester City fans are getting ready for the Arsenal game without Kyle Walker, the club captain, who is facing fitness issues according to a new report.
The England defender had to leave the friendly match against Brazil early due to a hamstring injury he suffered while trying to prevent a goal. Despite his efforts to continue playing, Walker had to be replaced and watched his team lose 0-1 at Wembley Stadium.
Concerns now turn to Manchester City’s upcoming match against Arsenal, with reports suggesting that Walker is a ‘serious doubt’ for the game according to MailSport’s Jack Gaughan and Sami Mokbel.
Walker is just one of the worries for the Manchester City coaching staff, as they also have concerns about Akanji and Stones ahead of the clash with Mikel Arteta’s team.
Guardiola is expected to provide updates on his squad’s fitness before the game, but there is some positive news with De Bruyne and Grealish working towards full fitness during the international break.
