Erling Haaland, the striker for Manchester City, has given an update on his recent injury scare during Norway’s training session earlier this week.
Concern arose when a video from Norway’s training camp showed Haaland apparently struggling with an issue, leading him to leave the session with a limp.
The medical staff from the Norway international camp indicated that there was no problem with the City forward, but worries remained considering the upcoming fixtures for Pep Guardiola’s team.
However, with matches set to begin globally, including those involving Manchester City players, Haaland provided a personal update before Norway’s friendly fixtures.
In an interview before Norway’s upcoming friendly against Czech Republic, Haaland stated that he feels good and is ready to play.
Norway’s manager, Ståle Solbakken, confirmed that Haaland will start if deemed fit by the national team medical staff.
Manchester City will resume after the international break with a match against Arsenal, followed by an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea and UEFA Champions League games against Real Madrid.
These pivotal matches are also accompanied by Premier League games against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, who have already proven to be tough opponents for Manchester City this season.
