Pep Guardiola has received a boost with the return of five injured players as Manchester City started their preparations for Arsenal on Thursday.
The Manchester City manager had concerns over the fitness of up to seven first-team players after the international break, but now only Kyle Walker and John Stones remain doubtful for the upcoming game against Arsenal.
The Premier League champions held their first training session ahead of the match against Arsenal, with key players Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne, Manuel Akanji, Jack Grealish, and Matheus Nunes all taking part.
Manchester City faces a busy schedule with high-profile matches in the coming month, including games in the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.
After Arsenal, City will play Aston Villa and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, followed by a Champions League clash with Real Madrid. This will be followed by an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea and away games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest.
