Reports suggest that two Manchester City players have been playing with hand fractures since January, showing great determination to push through the pain.
Despite these injuries, Pep Guardiola’s team is still competing on three different fronts as the season progresses, with a challenging April schedule ahead.
Following a Premier League matchup with Arsenal, City will face tough opponents in the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League, including a clash with Chelsea at Wembley and a showdown with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Both Ruben Dias and Phil Foden have been playing through hand fractures, displaying their commitment to the team’s success.
Injured in January, Dias sustained his fracture during a match against Tottenham Hotspur, while Foden’s injury occurred shortly after. Both players have continued to contribute to Manchester City’s performance.
Guardiola will carefully manage the team’s fitness as they enter a crucial period of the season, especially after recent challenges during the international break.
The squad has dealt with various fitness concerns, but key players like Ederson, De Bruyne, and Grealish are back in training ahead of the upcoming fixtures. Guardiola will provide more updates on the squad’s status after discussions with the medical staff.
