Manchester City fans have given their reaction to their side’s defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Leon Bailey’s second-half strike stunned Manchester City, as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat against in-form Aston Villa.
Unai Emery’s side were on top for most of the match as they restricted City to few opportunities.
Man City produced their worst performance of the damaging run and could easily have lost by more than one goal.
City fans have now taken to social media to express their thoughts and emotions on the defeat to Villa. Here is a round-up of what they had to say.
@TebzaT05377264: “That was shocking!”
@Siphe_Sihle1: “I’ve never ever seen such a pathetic performance from our players. Something clearly needs to change”
@mcfc_tee: “This was the first time in ages i’ve seen us get dominated like this..”
@ThodaYehThodaWo: “Worst game possible in quite a while, wonder what Pep can come up with in the next one.”
@Dmobile707: “This was one of the worst performances under peps city tenure. This why KDB can’t come back fast enough”
@a_andresc11: “Very disappointing and concerning results! It’s time to get back to the same stuff lads”
@DeuceSkywalker: “I felt City deserved a W in 2 of the 3 draws. Today, the L is the result we deserved. Outworked and outplayed.”
@visualvirtuozo: “I’m actually happy that we lost this game. This should be a turning point for us, and we need to secure a series of wins. But definitely, in January, transfers are a must!”
@Drutwit: “Akanji is awful and Guardiol cant play left back. Lacking creativity. City should get an alternative to Rodri soon. Without him in the team they play worse.”
