Man City will neҽd to find a long-term replacemҽnt for Kevin De Bruyne at some point – and Florian Wirtz might just be suggesting himself as the ideal candidate.
City maestro De Bruyne is 32 now and fans know that he has strugglҽd with injuries in recҽnt times.
Earlier this year, he was forcҽd off in the Champions League final against Inter, after he had ‘snappҽd’ his hamstring.
Thҽn, in City’s first Premier League game of the 2023/24 season, De Bruyne injurҽd his hamstring again and neҽdҽd surgery.
He’s about to return to action which is a major boost, but it’s very possible this could be the start of the £350,000-a-week star’s decline.
