Bernardo Silva warned Arsenal that Manchester City have now clicked into gear heading into the final stage of the season.
City secured a draw with Bayern Munich in Germany to seal a 4-1 win on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-finals as they booked a last-four clash with defending champions Real Madrid.
Joshua Kimmich registered Bayern’s first goal of the tie with a late penalty but the result was already beyond doubt with City setting up a replay of last year’s semi-final against holders Real Madrid.
Pep Guardiola’s side now turn their focus to an FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United this weekend, before Arsenal travel to the Etihad next week for a match that could well decide where the Premier League title ends up this season.
The treble remains on the cards for City, and Silva believes he and his team-mates are now in a rhythm that they have not previously had this campaign.
“We struggled until February because we couldn’t get in that usual run we had before of winning 10-15 games in a row but now we are very consistent,” Silva told BT Sport.
“We feel we have a chance in every competition and we are going for them.”
On the semi-final clash against Real Madrid, he added: “We always go for it but we feel the team is very, very confident at the minute. I think we are going through.”
