Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Jack Grealish and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao could be involved in a sensational swap deal.
Leao, who has been the subject of intense transfer speculation following his stellar showings in Serie A, has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City thought to be interested in acquiring his services.
According to reports via Calciomercatoweb, the Blues are prepared to offer Jack Grealish in exchange for Leao.
Grealish, 27, signed for Man City in the summer of 2021 for £100 million. But he’s largely failed to live up to his hefty price tag.
It appears Guardiola is ready to offload the England international in a bid to land Leao, who is out of contract in 2024.
It’s however stated that the Italian club are not completely convinced with the deal due to Grealish’s high salary and age.
The report shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.
@ShearsJohnny: No way! There’s no positive for Milan here, as Grealish is older than Leao plus I hate saying this but he’s better than Grealish too. Definitely contributes directly to the attack more with his scoring and creativity…js
@EGreturns: Italian nonsense as usual.
@MichaelLofthou5: Can never say never in regards transfers but I doubt Jack would move abroad
@pep_enthusiast: Nonsense. City wouldn’t make a deal that is this sensible
@ThisIsDela: I doubt something like this happens, but yes absolutely
@Kelyys: This would be so good but I can’t see it actually happening
@ProudCityFan: I don’t want Jack to leave in any possible way.
