Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson became the fastest Premier League player to record 150 wins in the top flight, smashing the record set by former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
Ex-Reds man Evra reached the tally in just 213 matches, while Brazilian shot-stopper Ederson achieved the feat in just 197 appearances, thanks to the Blues’ victory over Leeds United on Wednesday night.
Ederson’s City teammate Kevin De Bruyne took 215 matches to notch 150 Premier League victories, while club legend Fernandinho did it in 216 games. City’s first-choice goalkeeper has made 261 appearances for the Blues since signing from Benfica in 2017, registering a staggering 129 clean sheets.
Former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech took 217 matches to achieve 150 Premier League victories. He recorded 207 clean sheets during his illustrious career.

Since joining City in the summer of 2017, Ederson has barely missed a game in the league. He played a minimum of 35 times in each of his five full seasons and has been an ever-present in the 2022-23 campaign despite playing second fiddle to Alisson at international level.
He kept a clean sheet on his Premier League debut, a 2-0 win at Brighton, and ended his first season as a title winner. Further league trophies followed in 2019, 2021 and 2022, while you have to go back more than a year for the last game the Brazilian missed in the competition.
Across those 197 games, Ederson has been shown 12 yellow cards and been sent off just once. That came early on against Wolves in December 2019, with City ultimately throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose at Molineux.
