Graeme Souness has laid out the conditions for his night out with Jack Grealish after the England star took him up on his offer.
The former Liverpool manager invited the Grealish on a night out during an appearance on TalkSport after he had criticised the midfielder and urged him to be able to live with negative comments that he might get.
“I’d love a night out with Jack,” talkSPORT pundit Souness had earlier said. “I’m not sure I could stay with him, but I’d enjoy a night out with him!”.
“Let’s do it!!” was Grealish’s reply on social media. “As long as I can bring Pogba as a +1.”
The pair seem destined for a night out together, but Souness will be insisting on the venue and the wines. Souness also has allowed Grealish to bring ‘whoever’ he wants after he suggested that he would bring Juventus and former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba along.
Souness Writing for The Mail: ‘Great to see that Jack Grealish is up for a night out, which I said is something that I think I would enjoy very much.
‘I think he’s replied to say “let’s do”, so long as he can bring along Paul Pogba as his +1.
‘Well, that’s very good to hear! You’re on Jack. If I get to pick the venue and the wines, you bring along whoever you want. And by the way, you’re picking up the bill!’
