Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims three clubs including a Premier League club have enquired about winger, Adedire Mebude.
The youngster impressed for Manchester City’s under-18s last season, and is a highly rated player internally at the club.
Pep Guardiola’s side have allowed a whole host of players to leave the club either on loan or on a permanent deal this summer. Adedire Mebude may be about to join that list, with interest from around Europe being registered.
According to David Ornstein of the Athletic, PSV Eindhoven and Club Brugge are interested in signing Manchester City winger Adedire Mebude this summer, either on loan or permanently.
It’s stated that the 18-year-old is also being pursued by a Premier League club and discussions with Man City have been focused on a permanent move, with a buyback clause included.
The other alternative for Manchester City would be to offer the player a long-term deal and let him find his way into the first-team in the same ilk as Phil Foden did.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“He’s absolutely incredible. If we sell him without a reasonable buyback clause it’s a big mistake.”

“Meboude is really, really, really great. Not only the dribbling, but also the ball separation and the sense of smell are all perfect. This team is crazy. can’t believe it. I don’t understand how big a loss it is to let it out once, not a profit..”
