Erling Haaland admitted he dreams of Kevin De Bruyne every night in a hilarious Instagram exchange between the pair.
The newly-formed Manchester City duo connected for the first time on the pitch at the weekend in the Premier League championsâ 0-2 win over West Ham at the London Stadium.
A sumptuous 30 yard pass from the Belgian maestro put Haaland through on goal, before the Norwegian international slotted home in the same fashion we had seen on multiple occasions for Borussia Dortmund.
The Norway international decided to celebrate his brilliant start with the Citizens with a nice meal at a restaurant.
On Monday, Haaland posted a picture of himself enjoying some downtime browsing a restaurant menu. âAbout to order the whole menu,â he joked, prompting a slew of comments, including one from De Bruyne.
De Bruyne hit back with a quip about the number of assists he is set to provide Haaland with across the course of the season, saying: âYou want me to hold the menu and assist you?â
Things then got a little more steamy as the former Borussia Dortmund man responded with: âYes Iâm dreaming of it every night. Donât know why.â
That prompted some excited replies from Man City fans, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the matter.
