Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Norwich City and Sunderland are rumoured to be alongside Bristol City in showing interest in winger Marlos Moreno.
The 25-year-old has been on the books of Manchester City since 2016 but, like Patrick Roberts, has spent most of that time out on loan with various clubs, including the likes of Girona, Deportivo La Coruna, Flamengo and Santos Laguna.
Moreno is predominantly a right winger but can also play on the left and spent last season on-loan at top flight Belgian outfit Kortrijk, where he featured 34 times in all competitions.
News of his potential exit comes as City focus on trimming their squad of fringe players who are unlikely to significantly contribute to their Championship promotion push next season.
According to Columbian news publication AS, Sunderland, Norwich City and Bristol City are all interested in Moreno’s services, with a spell in the Championship said to appeal to the forward.
The report does not clarify whether the interest is in a permanent or a loan move, though it is said that despite interest from other countries, the proposals from English clubs are stronger.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
