Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report to yet another update on the club’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Braut Haaland ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Blues are trying to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker as they look to belatedly replace Sergio Aguero in their team, having failed to land a marquee forward in the last summer transfer window.
The Citizens are believed to be leading the race for the 21-year-old’s signature, while La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on his situation.
According to Skysport international reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Man City have presented an offer to Erling Haaland: An annual salary of around €30M per season for five years.
The offer presented by the Man City also includes the release clause of €75M plus agent commissions equal €70M.
The report also points out that Spanish giants Real Madrid have also made an offer to Haaland, but have yet to convince the striker of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
In light to the update, many Man City fans have reacted – here are some of the best responses.
“These figures are just crazy… I’m less and less enthusiastic about Haaland the more I read about it. I just hope they aren’t true.”

“If he’s just going to the highest bidder which wouldn’t be a surprise considering he hired Raiola… then let him go. If he doesn’t see the difference in the project/manager/existing squad, then he’s not the one.”

“I’m not sure on this, the money is insane….”
